In 2015, EVII will get the May 4th slot and AV2 will more than likely get the Victoria Day weekend slot, or whatever the holiday is in May for the US.

EDI...so May 1st for SW and May 22nd for AV2.

I think the other way round is more likely. Avengers is already scheduled for May 1.

Mem. wknd. Why would they change dates?

Because SW has seniority.  :)  But when will EP7 come out?

What is the record for the most money made by a studio in a single month? Whatever it is, it looks like the record will fall in May 2015 if those release dates hold.

Good question.

Why would SW take the May 1 date? Keep it Mem. wknd that is tradition same with Marvel.

Why?

Do you mean AV2 will make double SW7?  I think minimum SW7 does is 450.  But it could go much higher.  I don't see AV2 making 900 mill.

Why?

TA2 - 700M, SW7 under 350M DOM? No.

TA2 - 1.2B OS, SW7, under 600M OS? No.

TA2 - 1.8B WW, SW7 under 900M WW? No.

TA2 - 250M OW, SW7 under 125M OW? No.

When Paramount had Iron Man and Indiana Jones in the May '08, this is the same deal except way bigger. I don't think the memorial day weekend implies any lack of seniority.
