Just 500 shows listed P5 PS trending like WC last year at this time. Only going to bump 30% today instead of the usual 40-50%. Tomorrow is normally 75%, WC was 57%. PS will be 44-49m. 2.9-4x will be the multi. Probably at the low end with poor WoM. GITS was 3.2 with bad WoM. Me thinks 145-165m. Thought it could do 5x OD for the 5 day weekend but there are 7 local releases on Sat. The weekend is anybody guess. Funny year. Probably Guardians slightly under performed(should have done 800m). Otherwise movies performed on par like Logan, Beast etc. Pirates did 70m in 2011 but as we saw for MI5 there is no lock on next movie breaking out huge. I think tomorrow's PS wont be as high as normal as trend is lower. I would say 45m PS and 130m OD. As you said until we know the impact of other openers on saturday(plus how bad the ratings are for Pirates) we cant say for sure where it will end. I wont say 1B is locked at this point. But OD PS has tapered off completely. May be 43m PS at midnight and 125m OD !!!!!! Edit: Pirates looks like squeezing to 45m PS. Wonder woman has really a slow start( 217K OD and small preview numbers). Its going to struggle big time in China. Most probably will end up below MOS number. PR's presales started 2 weeks before the release. WW's presales started 1 week before the release. It's implicit he means WW will do at least 7x at OW what PR did.
