No, the DOM total between BOM ($221,998,674) and Numbers ($221,999,674) is different.

FWIW, the R1 page always had the correct OW number (especially the daily page), it was the Weekend and other pages that had the wrong number.

I meant either Sunday or w/e ... I remember there was something wrong and someone pointing it out, so other readers might not 'grab it an run with it' or so. Wasn't that you? :)

= maybe BOM had some software glitch or...?

For those asking about How high Sing could go....

Take a look at TinTin (2011) and adjusting some for differing behaviors on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and slightly adjusting down (because of higher daily grosses) and that would still put Sing at aprox 195m through Tuesday January 3rd, with the rest of the month to play. I honestly think 250 is conservative if it really holds up and 275-280 becomes more likely. 2016's version of Meet the Fockers a huge comedy that hits big.

Wednesday was only disappointing if you don't understand how this time of year works. Moana lost 900 theaters on Wednesday as well as facing Sing and the typical Wednesday slump, her behavior was great if not exceptional all things considering.

Well, thank you very much. I am comparing Moana and Tangled, from that point of view I found it disappointing.

How so? Its going to have beaten Tangleds total by next weekend? And Tangled did not have the same calendar make up meaning its day to day is not always comparable.

I compared some titile's details of this week with the named theatre counts at BOM:

the declining seems to go in steps, not at once:

Moana was at 3587 till incl. Tuesday, has as counts in Wednesday and Thursady 2053, and will have soon only 2687

same weekdays:

Dr.Strange 1930 / 1017 / 538

other pattern:

FB 3036 / 1966 / staying at 1966

Trolls too has the one step version...

Yeah, tis normal - theaters who made room for the three openers on Wednesday also making room for Friday's new films and then cutting again on Sunday  for the Christmas day stuff - if you take a look at years past, no matter what day christmas falls on some films drop and some drop by quite a bit and that is due to screen / theater loss.
