  1. I wasn't there back then lol, I came when GotG was in it's second weekend
  2. Ward you crazy son of a bitch. Loved the episode
  3. 1. Avengers: Age of Ultron 2. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies 3. Birdman 4. Foxcatcher 5. Exodus 6. Ant-Man 7. Inside Out 8. Jurrasic World 9. Furious 7 10. Chappie
  4. I was also referring to Guardians which had green screen space shots. Also for Interstellar they surely created Space shots and then had them projected.
  5. What about Guardians for combining both of them Actually like Life of Pi they didn't use motion capture for Rocket and Groot, only stand ins so had to fully animate their movements, which is impressive I wonder what's more difficult, Space shots or these fully animated animals.
  6. Great start for Interstellar, made just a bit more than Gravity. It will be interesting what happens next week as Gravity increased. Dead Lands, a NZ film doing okay, not the best. I thought it was a great film and more NZers should see it. Gone Girl has done well.
  7. Phase 3 seems very much about Civil War / Thanos and Ant-Man doesn't seem to fit in any of those to. I believe the main reason it's Phase 2 is that it will be related to Age of Ultron. There are theories that Wright left because Marvel wanted connections to their Universe. Wright mentioned that he wanted to make a stand alone film and Ultron was not in his script. In the AoU synopsis it refers to a "dormant peacekeeping program" so it is theorised that Pym is the creator of it, which Tony will use to create Ultron. Also having the fallout of AoU in Ant-Man could lay seeds for Civil War kicking off Phase 3.
  8. This is probably going to make huge money here in NZ, given these reviews and responses I've read. Comes out day after Christmas and all kids (and YAs like me that want to see it) are on holidays. Come quickly pls.
  9. I'm actually pretty excited for this. Yes Toy Story 3 was a perfect end to a perfect trilogy, but that was Andy's story. The toys learnt that just because the child grows up it doesn't mean that's the end. If they can make a film and then maybe a trilogy with the girl (forget her name) which is just as good, then I'm a happy man.
  10. Just finished watching it in IMAX, so quick response. Really enjoyed the film but didn't walk out being amazed by it. Visuals were of course fantastic, no faults at all in that side. Only technical fault was some instances of poor sound mixing, couldn't hear dialogue at times due to background noise and the score (which was awesome) being too loud. And there was some great moments like the docking sequence. Thought the film sort of lost it in the third act where character, plotting and dialogue all got a bit worse. I really enjoyed the father / daughter relationship and the explorations (going through wormhole, planet with the waves). Think there was a paradox too. Fuck paradoxes. Still a great movie, A-
  11. Costa Ronin joins Agent Carter as Anton Vanko This is great, will explore the relationship between Howard and Anton and learn more about the fallout we learnt in Iron Man 2.
  12. I'd probably watch Mockingjay and Bond over Star Wars. Never been a huge fan of SW. On topic: I'm really excited for this film, missed Pixar this year (and their latest films haven't been amazing) so hopefully we get too great films.
  13. They had to call it WS since any title like vs Shield or something to do with Hydra would give away the twist. WS allowed it to pay homage to the story and lead audiences off.
  14. 1. Avengers: Age of Ultron 2. The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies 3. Big Hero 6 4. Interstellar 5. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 6. Birdman 7. Ant-Man 8. Nightcrawler 9. Exodus 10. Inside Out
  15. Was busy and forgot about this, sorry. Annabelle is first with a decent opening. Gone Girl continues to hold very well and Maze Runner has done great so far. Dracula continues to fall hard.
  16. I thought it was bad for me getting it 26th Decemeber lol. Just checked and saw that most of Europe get's it in Jan.

  19. Haha same. I was like 2007?? Agree with Clone, it's a bit of a slow start but still great. Nice seeing Tommy back for a while too.
  20. Wonder Woman even though I'm not sold on Gadot yet (will have to see in BvS).
  21. A lot of great moments in this episode but the best was by far the fight scene, amazing.
