  1. That's not a good thing, yo. Poor Lilo, unfortunate to come in the same year as Spirited Away. And Wreck-It Ralph was plain robbed.
  2. HBP and DH1 stand out from the rest of the series as they are true coming of age films. DH1 is a one of a kind gem in that it's the only coming-of-age road movie that just so happens to be a fantasy blockbuster as well.
  3. I just want to see an impassioned write-up for Perks is all. Fucking beautiful movie deserves all the love it can get.
  4. Best: Pulp Fiction American Beauty Princess Mononoke Worst: TDKR (Always)
  5. I'll raise you an Uma Thurman in Batman & Robin to that. She was the only one who at least seemed to be having fun.
  6. Aren't Matthew Vaughn and Ritchie tight though? I think it's all right.
  7. Nice try but I didn't imply it sucked in any way. It was as crazy awesome as it was supposed to be.
  8. Seeing the unconventional methods they use to train at the Red Room such as teaching the American accent through showings of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, I wouldn't be surprised if ALL of these women were supposed to be super spies in training and ballet is just an exercise to increase their stamina and agility.
  9. Yeah. He was meh in Immortals too. Didn't watch Cold Light of Day. He had a bit part in Stardust though where he is almost unrecognisable. That was the first time I came across him.
  10. They gutted their own hand drawn department. I don't see the top management really jumping to rescue Ghibli.
  11. I like the Martells very much. In fact they are my second favorites after the Tyrells. But so far, they are no match for Olenna in the Game of Thrones. I've heard that Doran is playing a loooooooooooong game but I'll believe it when I see it.
  12. I've been avoiding Nausicaa because I've heard it's got a far simpler outlook on Industrialism vs. Environmentalism than Mononoke. And I adore PM. For peeps who have watched Nausicaa, think it's still worth my time?
  13. This artwork's so pimpin. Official or fanart? I wonder if Konietzko and DiMartino would be interested in writing for this.
  14. Yeah, for Gen Y it's an insane nostalgia ride as well. Also, how weird is it that as I type this, my playlist shuffle offers up "Do You Realize"?
  15. Er no, that's a faithful adaptation of the crazy schizoid original series.
  16. Can't even hold a candle to these two smoldering lasses:
  17. If anything, SB breakout should convince them to get on track ASAP. I wana see Tilda tackle this monstrous role!
  18. Obviously a job for the legend Nicola Peltz herself! Just keep her away from the Power Rangers. Or Scooby-Doo.
  19. Naah. If a movie looks appealing enough to the GA or casual fans, they will turn up no matter what and then the diehards will follow suit, if they haven't already watched it on OD despite their bitching. Didn't IM3/Mandarin permanently put to rest the theory that "fan rage" has any effect on an adaptation's BO and critical prospects whatsoever?
  20. Also, a big part of PR's appeal was that kids could roleplay with friends, if my 90's childhood was anything to go by. And not roleplay as Tommy, Kimberly etc. but just based on color/animal theme. That's why interesting newbies would work just as perfectly.
  21. I'm sorry but Tommy, Kimberly or any other specific character is not as beloved as all that. New characters would do just fine.
  22. Rangers benefit from having a more all-genders appeal than TMNT. If trailers are awesome and the cast is interesting, this just may hit 200M.
