Christ that looks awful. 15 sequels and "original" projects are Adam Sandler's Pixels, Tarzan, Angry Birds? Ew.

They should throw GI Joe 3 there too because it's full of shit already. Hansel & Gretel 2 because I don't know why it's being made.

To me Hansel and Gretel 2 is fine, the first was funny. I don't know why Paranormal Activity 5...

The writers of X-Men: First Class and Thor, Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, have been hired to write the screenplay for the Power Rangers reboot.

As I suspected, Lionsgate wanted their own CBM/super-hero franchise and will give this high treatement. PR was just popular brand up for grabs

Haim Saban owned 1990s cartoons.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saban_Entertainment#Animation_TV_series

Power Rangers was just one of his creations.  His X-Men animated series remains one of my favorite shows of all time.

Sausage Party is an original movie.

What are your predictions for Sinister 6?

I think Sinister six is going to bomb, all the villains in ASM2 were awful. probably somewhere from $80m-$120m

Personally, I don't think Sinister Six will bomb. Disappoint? Probably. Bomb? Probably not.

The Spider-Man brand is going to be pushed SO HARD in the marketing, that I think a decent OW is inevitable (65-70 million). However, if Spider-Man isn't featured in the film as much as in the marketing, or the reception is the same as ASM2, it will fizzle out to around 150M. However, if Sony can learn from their mistakes and the quality and reception is better, I think Sinister Six can crawl to 180M, much like ASM2 just barely crossed 200M.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sinister Six ends up being delayed or postponed.

Paramount have yet to schedule Star Trek 3 but there's not many slots left for it.

May 20, June 3, June 27, July 22, November 11 and 23.

May 20th is unlikely due to how incredibly packed May is plus I expect Alice will move to that slot, June is possible if Paramount wants a summer but I think if they want to maximise on the 50th anniversary then November 11th or November 23rd would be ideal.

Its open and BvS is moving. Look at ST last year did alright on that spot.

June 3 seems the most likely to me. May is too crowded, and Nov 23 is the (supposed) release of Giants. Opening against Sausage Party wouldn't hurt ST3 too bad, plus it has 2 weeks until Finding Dory/HTTYD3, and in between, it'll have to face against Uncharted, which may still be big, but I don't think it'll scare Paramount away from the date. July as it stands is much much too crowded already, even though a lot of stuff will most likely move.

There's also the fact that BvS, Alice and Dragon 3 will all probably move, and any of these dates is possible.

Then again, Paramount may opt for the Nov 11 date, and force Sony to move Sinister Six...
