a 100% chance at 200 m.

 

a 85% chance at 250 m.

 

and a 75% chance at 300 m.

Why is there confusion?

 

Not sure, some sources reported $39m (not sure who, I've only seen ours which was ~$38m). $38.2m has been confirmed though.

GREAT opening for Furious Six. I gotta say, Hangover rebounded quite a bit. It's up 67% from Thursday. Obviously it's disappointing but it's headed for a low 60s 5-day which is better than we thought it could do yesterday. It'll certainly outgross Epic and probably Trek as well this weekend. Trek, Iron Man and Gatsby all held steady against 60m+ of new competition in one day. Great weekend for box office!

So Fast 6 is definitely outgrossing Fast 5 (Closer to $250M) and Star Trek Into Darkness is definitely cracking $200M (Around $210-$220M).

I don't know. I think everything is quite impressive. F6 included.  Hangover 3 is the only disappointment but it did show a substantial increase for Friday.

 

I'm impressed with Fast 6 but I am equally impressed that other movies could still make money and the holdovers didn't crumble under the weight of 3 opening movies.
