Dementeleus
Hey, even I, a quasi-hater, really liked the dance scene. One of the few times in the entire series when it slowed down enough to breathe and let the characters actually be.
Noctis
Yes, I'm sure the pace was relentless in HBP.
BK007
DH1 was a an unnecessary bore. Deathly hallows didn't need to be split into 2, Warner brothers just liked the sound of 2 billion instead of 1. The dancing and camping scenes in this movie just seems too fake and out of place, but potter loonies can't seem to see that. It was hard to feel any emotion for the characters in this film when the cast can't act their way out of a paper bag.Goblet of fire still remains the best IMO simply because it's everything a potter movie should be, fun, simple and entertaining. Then the series decided to take itself more serious which only made the franchise more of a bore.Yeah? Or maybe people like yourself who seem to know nothing should stay silent.Potter movies are not meant to just be "fun and entertaining" and certainly not "simple". Sorry if you're too dense to read the books, too cold to relate to the characters or too dull to imagine. This franchise deserves to, after all the cash it made, to let the movies only appeal to the fans. It's way in the green, will continue to take in money from DVDs and theme parks and whatnot. Also, I highly recommend Transformers: Dark of the Moon or the Three Stooges, definitely up your alley
luna
this with HBP is the best potter movie. character relations are put front and centre, and the cinematography was beautiful. not much to complain about this one. 8/

Lordmandeep
That is the thing. Hp had films that appeal to different audiences. Hp1 appealed to a family audience. POA played to older audience. GOF played for the action audience. DH1 was a film for the fans. DH2 was a mix for everyone.

Goffe
I'm huge fan and didn't like DH1 as much a like the other Potters. DH1 is saved by being based on the strongest book. B/B+
CaptainJackSparrow
I loved this film, this is how a Harry Potter film should be made!
Noctis
The Harry/Hermione dance honestly ranks as one of the greatest coming of age scenes. It's so realistic in its depiction of teenagers. They seriously felt like real human beings.

"Fun simple and entertaining" is all a Potter movie should be? tommycruise
I like a lot of the character stuff and focus on the plot but it suffers from the whole part 1 thing which leads to a low key climax.
