stuart360
When she's the main attraction her movies rarely open over 14 m. I doubt thats down to her though, i dont think she's a big enough star yet to have that kind of effect yet.

CloneWars
It's not even 5PM here in California. No way can we have a Friday estimate this early, Horror films always demonstrate how well they play at nighttime.

Impact
WOW! Wasn't the forum predicting a flop for CARRIE? No, they were just saying it wouldn't beat Gravity this weekend-which it wont unless if it somehow increases on Saturday.

Impact
I just saw Carrie and Gravity looking like it was a single title and was going "There is a film called Cavity that is doing well?"
kowhite
I've seen TV ads for The Fifth Estate, it just looked very generic and the reviews had to be strong and they weren't. It's a Wikileaks movie–sure, when it was in the news, people knew enough about it for SNL to do multiple sketches, but it's one thing to watch Bill Hader in a wig for a few minutes and another years later to go to a theater and pay to see a feature film. And even DiCaprio has flopped with a poorly reviewed biopic, so Rinkydink Curdlesnoot in the same spot was bound to do much worse. Tumblr popularity is better than nothing but in terms of box office pull it ain't much.My friends review of a The Fifth Estate was...he fell asleep three times.Dunno, I'm expecting a Cumberbomb.
Impact
Isn't this his first American film where he was the lead? Since his other films were basically franchise films.
