grey ghost
Trekkies playing their trailer before SW8. Shots fired.
grey ghost
Adjusted for inflation the ceiling for Trek movies seems to be around 290 m. The average Trek film makes around 185 m. This should cross 200 m.
WrathOfHan
Trailers are always 10 minutes by me, so that translates to 4 or 5 trailers. Sometimes I've gotten 6. If it's animated with a short they go down to have the short fill in the remaining 10 minutes.

Plus 5-7 can help you relax and get in the mood to watch a movie.
kayumanggi
Ha ha it's sometimes 20 minutes to 30 minutes in some malls here. I always try to enter the cinema 30 minutes before the showing.

Chewy
Imagine being so deeply invested in your stanning that you boo a 'rival' trailer Well, I guess we don't have to imagine, we see it on these boards every day...
grey ghost
It would be pretty funny if Star Wars fanboys booed the Trek trailer. Anyone offended by something like that needs to lighten up.

When the movie is over, me and friends talked about the trailers and tried to remember which one was it and figure if all of us watching it or not.

Didn't Star Wars fans boo The Beach trailer playing before a TPM showing so much that Leo left the theater?

Although I can't remember getting more than 7 trailers at a movie before (it's probably happened before just can't remember). Most of the time it's in the 5-7 range. I don't even know if I'll get any trailers with TFA, depends if they attached anything to the 70mm print.

Was if embarrassing when Conan O'Brien had a guy dressed as Spock give a bunch of Star Wars nerds the middle finger? No, it was hilarious. Ethan Hunt
Isn't there a large overlap in the Trek/Wars fan base?

Just like there's a large overlap between DC and Marvel fans. But some people are really invested in rivalries for some reason.
