Kvikk Lunsj
Apparently he used to keep tweeting 9/11 conspiracy theories before he took down his twitter account.Congrats baumer's on getting a directing job.

kayumanggi
Well JJ Abrams is a good director and some here thought STID was terrible. Let us see what a not so good director can do.

Captain Craig
Paramount Announces 2016 Sequels to Every Movie They’ve Ever Made! The Hansel & Gretel 2 is the mild surprise. I figured that the talk of that died and the idea just went away for it. So Renner will be in: MI5, AoU, Bourne 5(if that rumor holds) and H&G2---man is the new "Mr.Franchise".

Jessie
Star Trek 3 Director Roberto Orci Says Movie Closest Yet to Original TV SeriesAre they idiots? Did they not realise that the reason ST09 was such a big hit was because they tried reinventing it? When they started trying to follow the older movies, the interest dropped hence STID's lower gross and now some guy being paid millions has become up with the genius idea of continuing to go down the same path?

Jonwo
I'm guessing it means it's not going to be Earth bound like the last two films. I think the Federation war with the Klingons is likely to be part of the film but I reckon they'll have another enemy as well.
BK007
Orci sounds like a douche.

Did you actually read it? "in this movie they are closer than they are to the original series characters that you have ever seen. They have set off on their five-year mission. So their adventure is going to be in deep space."
junkshop36
Sounds good to me. It's what they set up at the end of the last one; for them to go out on the five year mission to explore the galaxy.

RobinHood26
Wasn't that the plan after the first one? No, thats how STID ends.
Neo
No, thats how STID ends. It threw me off where ST09 ended "boldly going where no man has before" monologue.
The47th
If this is the last movie for the cast before their contracts are up, I really hope they fix the time-change mess of the first/eleventh one. I don't think they've been able to explode the creative possibilities that they were given.
Ethan Hunt
Well JJ Abrams is a good director and some here thought STID was terrible. Let us see what a not so good director can do. It isn't Abrams fault Into Darkness was a shit pile. the script was awful and Kahn was a horrible villan (again script to blame for that not the acting.)

(I don't think it's a bad movie, but it sure isn't a great one).
