baumer
Two for four, then.... ILSA is pure porn. It's hot naked woman getting tortured and being made to have sex. A teenage boys dream (not the torture, just the films themselves)

A teenage boys dream (not the torture, just the films themselves) Yeah, me and some friends rented the first one... and it was a let-down. Wasn't amusing "fun" soft core... it was skeezy with really crappy production values. Never bothered to watch the others, a little of that went a long way. I enjoyed the first one is some perverse way. The sequels have even more sex and more nudity in them.

TLK
Albert Brooks @AlbertBrooks 1m I'll miss that kid in Blockbuster telling me everytime I went in, "We don't have any of your movies except for Nemo."
Kalo
I actually have fond memories of blockbuster and video stores in general. when was little there was a blockbuster we could walk to and I was always excited cause you got a free kids rental with a grown up movie, and I just kind of miss actually seeing and interacting with People at the video store. Webslinger
I'm not going to miss it that much. My family rented from a location a few blocks away from our house in the '90s and the early '00s, but we went to Hollywood Video much more frequently. I caved and got a Blockbuster membership after Hollywood went out in 2010, but I was disappointed that neither of the stores I went to had much in the way of movies that were not new releases. I will miss the concept of a video store, but I will not miss Blockbuster.

grim22
http://news.cnet.com/8301-31001_3-20025235-261.html Netflix proposed in 2000 that Blockbuster should use Netflix as its online service and Blockbuster "nearly laughed us out of the office," recalled Netflix's outgoing CFO. Punishment
Tons of fond memories of Blockbuster as a kid, spent every weekend there. Guess because most video stores had already shut down in my area I never had any hate I never had a problem with Blockbuster either; I felt just the opposite of many of the posters in here when they came to my town - as they actually had the movie I wanted to rent because they had more than 2 copies available. I lived in a rural area though so that probably made a big difference in how I was treated; I don't recall ever getting stiffed with exorbitant late fees. I can't recall the last time I actually rented a movie from a brick and mortar store; I'm surprised any of them are still in business. Besides, they are free to check out from the library now

This needs to be a public service announcement. For those of you who do not go to the library, it's not just for books anymore. You can take DVDs out of the library now for the low low price of free.
