Dementeleus
Creed might make up for the big loss on Entourage. I don't think ENTOURAGE was a big loss for them.
dudalb
Creed might make up for the big loss on Entourage. Creed cost 35 Million dollars, a low budget nowdays , so I think it chances of losing money are low,not sure how big a hit it will be. TalismanRing
I don't think ENTOURAGE was a big loss for them. A reported $30m budget and an estimated $40m+paid just in U.S. TV advertising doing $44m ww. It wasn't an enormous loss like JA or PAN or even as big as UNCLE but it wasn't a paper cut.

RichWS
I'm guessing around 51-52%.

There is no way that Creed is going ti be a money-loser. I think that makes atleast 60-70m

kowhite
Agreed. Warners will make a profit off of it, only question is how much. Which is really asking...does this do Balboa business, or cannot break out? I don't see it being a big international sell though, so it has limits. Even if it delivers. But profit? Yeah, I think they're good for that.
TalismanRing
OUCH http://www.thewrap.com/joe-wright-pan-failure-julius-caesar-lionsgate/ Quote Filmmaker was in negotiations to direct Lionsgate’s “Emperor” but talks broke down after his Warner Bros. film flopped Joe Wright‘s “Pan” may lead to a $150 million write-down for Warner Bros. but it could also cost Joe Wright, unfairly or not. dudalb
TO use a sports similie: Joe Wright is a good player in one position (modest budget period films) but a bad player when you move him to another position (big budget Fantasy films)/ Warners is as much to blame as Wright, since a origin story of Peter Pan was a Warners Brs idea, but whene a film bombs as big at Pan has everybody involved in the making takes a sizable hit.
TServo2049
It feels like this generation's equivalent to a Dune movie directed by David Lynch...
MovieMan89
Creed should be making 65-80m, however they need to get it together with the marketing for it. I would have no idea of the film's existence if not for these boards.

DMan7
It was released a little over 2 months ago and its already out on DVD?
TalismanRing
It makes sense. It's X-Mas and is easily the est time to try and sell some of these. Its not as if it was making money in theaters.
