He's trying hard to make it happen. Barbenheimer had little to no actual acknowledgement by the studios, who for a change realised that they would make it worse by jumping in.

Assuming Gladiator wants the giant screen formats (most likely, and Wicked is already being promoted for them), it would be funny if they moved up to try and bully Dwayne Johnson's latest slice of Somehow Not a Netflix Exclusive (yes, Red One is also being marketed for having those formats) into giving up those screens since that obviously has the least leverage of all these movies.
