I love the movie, it was good movie, but what made it more awesome is those sex scenes for a pervert like me.

American Hustle is a lot of fun with some great acting performances. The story and direction aren't up to the hype (it's kinda lackluster as a con/heist plot), but it's fine to just get involved with the actors having fun in the roles for a couple hours.

The movie made me fall asleep. It was so slow in progressing the story and lacked any meaningful punch in such genre movie.

True, but those sex scenes were all about explosive joy. Adele was happy for once in her life.

This post was trying to offhand catch the wit of Marie Antoinette's "Let them eat cake", with all the delicious bourgeois scorn that implies, but really it contains more than a whiff of Schopenhauer's defeatist existentialism. That was a total flop of me, I went to look at the nominations and didn't even think of the movie and just dished out categories it was missing from me.
