I think Kevin Hart is funny, but he's starting to get in that rut where he just shouts.

I see what youre saying. IMO hes like the male version of Melissa McCarthy right now. The reason Kevin does that though is because those are the things he did in his comedies routines that people fell over and made him popular. He couldnt do that in Grudge Match, but he does it in Ride Along and Think Like A Man. IMO Kevin's loud, jittery personality is what people want out of him so I honestly dont mind. Watch the trailer for About Last Night, it comes out Valentines Day and he doesnt shout or run around, but he still owns the entire trailer.

Surprised by The Nut Job.

Hotel For Dogs(2009) played like this:

4.340 + 7.343 + 5.327 + 5.853 = 22.865

Using the same pattern, a 3.5/4 Friday translates to 18.44/21.07 4-day

Puts it on track to easily recoup the 42.8m production budget.

I expect it to the finish in 70 - 75 million range.

Nothing special.

Average U.S. movie ticket price in Q4 2013 was $8.35 (+3.7% year-to-year). Average for the entire year was $8.13 (+2.1%).https://twitter.com/boxofficemojo/status/424303062292119552

Tickets sold in 2013 was 1343.2b or -1.3% down a bit more than I expected.Though it's a larger ticket price jump than last year (just +0.38%), it's still historically quite low, apart from 2011 and 2012, the last time there was that small a jump was 1996. Edited by lab276
