Looks like we could already have a 300m movie on our hands for LEGO. Only Passion has ever hit that mark releasing before March. With arguably MJ1 being the only other movie locked for 300 this year, LEGO could end up being top 3 for the year.

so I had a very good friend tell me that Frozen was a awful movie.....I'm now questioning our friendship.

Lol, tell him/her to see it again without all the blown out of proportion hype expectations. I've come to realize Frozen is not bad at all, rather just very overrated.

You need to cut all ties with this person immediately  ;)

Or maybe, show him love and thaw his rock solid stony heart  :cheekkiss:

Dammit, I was hoping I fixed that fast enough. Waaaaaay too tired today. :P I blame Lionsgate for going the shitty two parter route when it wasn't needed. It's making me compare it to a much worse franchise where it wasn't needed.

Hello. I hope everything is going well today.

Yes it is. Just came back from shopping and lunch out. The sun is shining and it's a beautiful day. I have nothing to complain about.

How about for you kind sir?

Aside from that disturbance in the force earlier this morning, it's going alright. About to go watch the Creighton basketball game, and I've got the day off tomorrow. It's also a perfect 75 degrees outside. Can't complain much

First off, I explicitly excluded Avatar and Titanic when I made my statement. Second, sure Gravity over performed but I would hardly say that it literally doubled pre-release expectations like Frozen did. It made 700m which is great but it was a still a big-budget film with two very bankable stars. The legs were impressive for both but Frozen's holds still blow it out of the water. #1 in its 6th weekend and top 5 for 11 consecutive weeks.

Gravity budget = 100mFrozen budget = 150m;)

Gravity was definitely impressive but I think in terms of sustained success and pre-release expectations Frozen's run is head and shoulders above everything in the last 20 years not named Titanic or Avatar.

Hahaha.  Um, no.

Passion of the Christ, Spiderman 1,  Skyfall, Shrek, The Sixth Sense, and Forrest Gump all say herro.

I've been meaning to ask you this. Was your screen name inspired by Watchmen or the other Ozymandias?

Ozymandias is the name of a pivotal episode in the final season of Breaking Bad and since his pic is of Walter White I'm assuming that's where he got the name.

MAYBE you could make the argument for Forrest and the Sixth Sense maybe but the rest had nowhere near the type of legs Frozen has had.
