I would be pissed if, after hearing about how gorgeous the cinematography is (Larry Fong is one of my favorites), and how surprisingly well the movie flows according to people I've asked about it, Kong: Skull Island had that rough of a start on RT. I don't want another mindless, hole-filled Zack Snyder romp.

 

But by saying that, I probably jinxed it. I've had that kind of luck this year.

I can't exactly say this year has so far been underwhelming. Heck what all directors of 2017 movies need to remember is that even M. Night Shyamalan delivered this year.
