Two-time Oscar winner Dame Angelina Jolie's Maleficent has survived the one-two punch of TFIOS and HTTYD2. From here on out it doesn't face much competition and it will clear 200m with ease.

Her naysayers have been silenced.

Dame Angelina better get UNBROKEN across 200m is all I'm sayin'.

I'm gonna go all baumer on Unbroken with the whole "I liked this movie; but I hated the last one so I hope this fails hard"

Maleficent: The Amazing Spider-Man

Unbroken: The Amazing Spider-Man 2

It's ridiculously unrational but who cares?

After all, this'll beat it

But but but Mulder and Blank said Fault and Dragon would DESTROY Malf!!!11

Critically and among people who have seen them all in opinion, it got last place, and honestly, even though this is a box office forum, I think we're all more here for our love of quality movies. Maleficent ain't quality, Dragon 2 and Fault are. :D

Do people realize Unbroken is a drama, not an action blockuster lol? xD

Angelina has only won one Oscar (Best Actress in a Supporting Role, “Girl Interrupted"). Did she produce an Oscar-winning film or short that I missed?

The second one is Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award so doesn't really "count", but she still has 2 golden Oscar statues with her name on it :P

Just wanna turn this back on you in a mindblowing way... Who adores Jenko and Schmidt?

Not sure if serious. Nobody's mind has been blown. The success of 21JS was overwhelmingly attributed to the perfect chemistry between Tatum and Hill. Those characters (and the actors' interplay) made the film. It's no surprise that a sequel is killing it at the box office.
