Madagascar3 fell 51.4% Friday to Friday.

Removing the 2m in previews that drop would have given HTTYD2 7.98m from 16.44m Friday.

So with it's reception, 6-7.5m is disappointing.

 

 

Again, Mad3 was a calendar week earlier with less demand burnt off since a lot of kids were still in school.

I guess that's why it had a 85% increase on Friday.

Cars2, TS3 and MU were similar at +52-56%.

6-7.5m would give HTTYD2 28-60% increase from Friday.

So I guess it should go above 6.5m(about +40%) at least. +28% would be horrendous.

Yeah, if Jersey Boys is doing this well then Get on Up is gonna be big. Don't see it doing less than what The Butler did last year.
