DAJK
I'm gonna see it on Saturday, do I need to have watched the first one or can I not bother? If you just read a short plot synopsis you should e good. But watching the first movie shouldn't be a chore It's not a bad little film

kayumanggi
Saw this yesterday. The first is better but this is not really bad.
catlover
Saw this yesterday. The first is better but this is not really bad. Great! As long as it's entertaining. I loved the first one despite the mixed reviews. Gonna see this tomorrow.

This kinda drag a bit. Had some wtf moments. Haven't read the books so some stuff confused me.

kowhite
This kinda drag a bit. Had some wtf moments. Haven't read the books so some stuff confused me. Ok but how's it compare to the first?
kayumanggi
Ok but how's it compare to the first? The first is better. It has a better and more exciting ending as well. I think 2nd books are usual victims of the 'drag' syndrome. The 'journey' in the second film has scenes that are kinda repetitive. I don't know how much has been changed though since I haven't read the book.
eXtacy
Saw it. Movie is not as bad as early reviews suggest. It works.
Aplandg
For those who have seen it, are the light bulb monster creatures in the movie?

DAJK
Nice! Glad it's been steadily rising since that (admittedly unsettling for me) 38%.
TalesofToday
RT at 60% - now fresh: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/maze_runner_the_scorch_trials/ For now. Take a screenshot, it may not last. But man, I really hope it isn't as bad as the early reviews say it is. I can handle a little cheesiness in a film and something that is short on story so long as the action is entertaining. God knows I've forgiven a lot of flaws in other films that critics have panned. alisson23
This means almost nothing but it is already fourth place with 4% of sales at movietickets
TalesofToday
This means almost nothing but it is already fourth place with 4% of sales at movietickets I'm not familiar with the accuracy/correlation of movietickets sales tracking with overall box office but I guess that's good. How did other films do in the past at this point assuming a $40-$50m tracking?
