Nutterbutter
51% now. The last eight reviews in a row were all rotten.

DAJK
From the tone of th critics, this sounds like it's "entertaining" but not narratively memorable.
CJohn
The ending drags a bit. The middle section is incredible.

2spooky4u
Jeez, they really hate it. Some a bit too much.
onyxrose81
It's down to 45% and probably will only get uglier (some of those "reviews" are barely that). That's disappointing. Nutterbutter
Geez, 17 reviews added so far today and only one of them was fresh. When they fall, they fall hard.
CJohn
Monster OD over here. The night shows doubled the ones of the first movie. Edited September 17, 2015 by CJohn
DAJK
Yikes! 13% for top critics. They really should change the consensus...
DAJK
I'm seeing a lot of "it's just the YA formula all over again" so I'm curious as to what the reviews would have been if this had come out in say 2008 before a lot of the YA movies. Same with for example if Chappie had come out before District 9.

Ethan Hunt
Chappie was sooooooooo terrible. District 9 would've still gotten a better ratings, even if it came out after Chappie. Chappie is good IMO. It has an excellent sense of wonder and Mommy and Chappie are both great characters, they did kinda fail to stick the landing with the ending though
DAJK
Chappie is good IMO. It has an excellent sense of wonder and Mommy and Chappie are both great characters, they did kinda fail to stick the landing with the ending though Chappie is just a hair away from being as good as District 9 in my opinion. I should probably take that to the Unpopular Movie Opinions thread...
catlover
From the tone of th critics, this sounds like it's "entertaining" but not narratively memorable. Saw it and that's exactly how I felt, without the quotation marks, because it was entertaining. So around the same RT score as Ted 2? That's just too harsh.
Mojoguy
Geez, 17 reviews added so far today and only one of them was fresh. When they fall, they fall hard. The YA film curse strikes again!
Maxmoser3
So this is getting the exact same usual sequel reception but it should get a nice OW.

Avatree
Told you guys this movie and this franchise was fucking garbage. Maybe you should watch it for yourself before proclaiming that it's "fucking garbage"? Just a thought.
