juni78ukr
FF7's average ticket price around 25.5, holy shit that is expensive. But that's only because of official exchange rates? With black market exchange rates that would be less.
A District 3 Engineer
with black market exchanges, tickets price would be $1 or less.
keysersoze123
I dont understand how its working. Venezuelan economy is in shit and $ reserves are critical. How is the socialist govt letting studios exchange for movie tickets at the preferred rate which I thought was for priority goods. This is a country that has shortage of basic things !!! I am sure this aint lasting long for sure.
Fullbuster
If Venezuela defaults and let the market fix the value of its currency the Venezuela box office market will completely collapse in dollars, that would be such a huge decline...A movie reaching $20m today would be under $5m in that case, and I'm optimistic..It's probably inevitable, the current situation can't last so we should be prepared. The $ that the studios stated are just PAPER amount - a bragging rights, it's nothing to do with what they can actually take out of the country.
