I think it is hard to keep people on topic on weekend threads when it boring weekend. When a big movie opens it a lot easier to talk about how a movie is going to perform.  Plus there is always the waiting period for numbers to come in.

The next few weekends till "Gone Girl" hits are going to be awful, I don't think anything (maybe Maze Runner and Equalizer) will even challenge 20M OW.

Yeah, it is near impossible to keep everybody on topic when it is a weekend when no really interesting movies are opening.

I am expect everything to go off topic in the next couple of weeks. This forum is usually on topic when big movies open beside that weekend thread always goes off topic.
