No Good Deed falls 66% on its 2nd Friday.  Thank you again to Baumer for reminding all of us that reviews do not matter (*sarcasm*).

 

"NO GOOD DEED" grossed an estimated $10.2 million this weekend, which is a 58% drop. It's made $40.1 million within 10 days of release, and it had only a $13.2 million budget. A 58% drop for this type of film is not horrible.

Agreed it was lucky it only dropped 58% considering the horrible reviews.

Very good opening for The Maze Runner. Doesn't seem frontloaded at all so I hope it has good legs.

Ok-ish OW for TIWILY. Good it has a low budget.

Acceptable drop for Dolphin Tale also.

The Maze Runner's opening is really good. Considering it has minimal direct competition the next few weeks since all of the big new releases are rated R, it very well could make a play for $100M.

THE MAZE RUNNER'S 32.5 M opening is the 6th biggest for a September opener.

Saw The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby and outside of Chastain's performance (she's always strong) I didn't care for it. Not surprised it's not connecting. But man oh man does Harvey have trouble making anything work these days.
