The Avengers: Age of Ultron hit the $1 billion global mark on Friday and promptly resumed their box office rampage overseas. Ultron grossed a total of $185 million from 91 territories over the weekend, raising the international tally to $770.5 million.

China has grossed $156.3 million since its Tuesday premiere, making Ultron the second highest grossing 6 day start of all-time. Avengers: Age of Ultron is the #8 industry release of all-time in China with less than a week's worth of screenings.

Avengers: Age of Ultron is nearing the $80 million mark in South Korea, making it the biggest Disney/Marvel release of all-time in the market and the second biggest Western release in history.

With $65.8 million, the film is the highest grossing live-action release in the UK since Skyfall.

Top performers include China ($156.3M), South Korea ($78.9M), UK ($65.8M), Mexico ($43.8M), Brazil ($40.4M), Russia ($32.2M), France ($31M), Australia ($29M), and Germany ($27.9M). Avengers: Age of Ultron is now the 8th highest grossing film of all-time. Disney has released 4 out of the top 8 grossing movies of all-time, three of those being from the Marvel Universe. The Avengers expand to Japan on July 4.

They counted all 6 days of China for the weekend, 29m was the rest of OS, down 53%

OS-CJ: With that drop I doubtwill do more than 55m, 675- 685m total

Japan: 25-30m With mixed WOM and currency loss this number is likely(30m matches TA1s 45m total)

DOM: held better than I thought, 70-80m more, 440-450m

China: 1.6-1.8 6day multiplier is typical. 250-280m

1.390B- 1.445B

1.5b is not possible at this point. Under 1.4B could happen which mostly up to china's hold this week

950- 995m OS. I guess 1B is still a possibility. China's Monday number could hint whether or not it can get close. >60m would be a good hold from Thursday, <50m would be shyte. If it does get close, they'll push it to !B somewhere in OS

25/30M from Japan is quite optimistic. Ultron

a) feels uneventful

b ) is a sh film

c) is not animated

d) seems to be average

e) doesn't have the support of 3d

f) has to deal with a crappy exchange rate

I'm thinking 2 billion Yen, which translates to mid-high teens in dollars.
