That's true. But it's very clear which film is ahead if you base it on the 23 M v 17 M Friday numbers.

Again, that's true. But the Friday numbers are not 17 M vs 17 M. It's 23 M vs 17 M. That's very clear.

IS will definitely sell more IMAX tickets than BH6 will 3d. 3D is all but dead to the family audience. It's just not feasible to take a family of four or more to a 3d movie for most people. IMAX however is a major selling point for any Nolan movie.

Deadline's estimates come in at around 10pm Pacific or so. We won't have any refined numbers till that point.

After seeing Interstellar I don't really care about the OW numbers because its the kind of movie that will clear 200 mil no matter what it opens to ( well relatively speaking ) WOM will make sure of it IMO

True. That's why I'm a bit surprised with that Friday number for BH6 or is Nolan's pulling power THAT strong? You can't say the 21 M - 23 M Friday number was just the work of Nolanites.
