CAYOM Year 10 Advanced Schedule

Recommended Posts

My adaption will not follow the play very closely, it features the same characters, some of the same songs, and some of the same plot. But it will also be new songs and some tweaking done to the story.

You haven't convinced me. The words "Seuss" and "epic" are opposite ends of the storytelling spectrum.

Why change Seussical though? It's pretty perfect with the exception of it being an opera IMO. I mean, easily the best musical I was involved with (there's better music than Beauty and the Beast and the plot is a LOT better than Grease)

Just one request; change the director. Brad Bird cannot direct Seussical.

I'd think someone like Andrew Adamson would be an appropriate choice.

*Googles Andrew Adamson * *Sees he directed the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe * *Decides Alpha knows what hes talking about *

I'll swap out Bird for Andrew Adamson.

Edit: I don't get why you're against Bird directing it though, I pick Adamson now only because he directed TLTWATW.

I'll change James Wan for SCP Foundation Tales, since you got first dibs on him for Videotape. However, I'll ignore Lord-Miller because you stated Candy Crush 1 and 2 were filmed back to back.

Rorschach, you have a problem.

Deciding between Mel Gibson and Alfonso Cuaron for replacement directors for PJ. What do you think?

Definitely not Mel Gibson, unless it's an R-rated gory action flick.

Alfonso Cuarón could be fine, but his resume only consists of sci-fi and drama films. The only film outside of that is Harry Potter 3, but that's one film.

Ridley Scott?
