Crimson Peak has potential to do well but it's high budget might affect but WW will be awesome. Paranormal Activity could set another low or earn around 40 million domestic. Krampus is dumped the weekend after Thanksgiving so a total around 20 million or so will be expected.

Krampus is also the first Xmas themed film (i.e. relevant subject matter) to be released the first weekend in December.

I'm due to watch that again soon.. I saw that in my collection of Horror DVD's as I've mentioned about making a Top 10 Classic Horror and that's one of them... I really hope the CONJURING 2 is just as good and not a letdown... They should've had the Warrens do the Amityville Case for the sequel... What a missed opportunity...

There's already another Amityville movie in production.

Watched Unfriended.

It was ... what it was. Nothing good, but an interesting look at online chat life. I'm not even sure it counts as a horror film.

Watched Spring a few weeks ago. Brilliant movie, absolutely loved it, but once again I'm not even sure it counts as a horror film. It was something else, but I don't even want to say because that would spoil it. If you like the thoughtful artsy shit (like It Follows or The Babadook or Only Lovers Left Alive) you'd probably like Spring.

Okay kiddos, if you're anywhere in the Ohio/Pittsburgh/Indianapolis/Michigan/etc area, join me in making the drive down to Columbus on October 17 and 18 for the 24 hour horror movie marathon this year.

They've got a pretty good mix of titles so far, and there should still be one or two more to come.

I hope Deathgasm turns out to be fun. (New Zealand has been on a winning streak for me lately with Housebound and What We Do In The Shadows.)

Looks like a good mix with a little bit of everything in there.

Watched this little TV horror flick called Dark Night of the Scarecrow. The movie takes place in a small farming community where a retarded man is wrongfully blamed and killed for the murder of a little girl. In true horror movie fashion, he returns in the shape of a scarecrow to exact revenge on those who murdered him. Despite having no blood, boobs or gore (due to being a TV movie), it manages to be semi-creepy and semi-atmospheric.

The Gallows had one or two jump scares, maybe more effective in the cinema. But the horrific acting ruined the film.

No way RINGS is released this November. Waiting for an announcement.

I agree! The Gallows was a mess, but at least it had one intense scene, we can't say the same for many horror movies released lately

Goodnight Mommy is rubbish. It started out great but they gave the twist away way too early. Also it became torture porn toward the end. Huge missed opportunity.

Bummer I was looking forward to this one. So far It Follows is by far the best horror film I have seen this year. It may be the best I have seen since Scream. It's a genre changer.
