Just saw it and I thought it was great! The acting, story, & direction were all top notch! I really liked all the twist & turns the movie took and where it ended up at the end. Way better than the original Cloverfield I thought.

Audience reaction seemed mixed.

 

I enjoyed it. The set up for the third movie looks like it will be a much bigger budget film.

This shouldn't come as a surprise. Both are great actors (Winstead is SO underrated).

Awesome, looks like we have a strong female character in this film, love MEW!

Winstead also makes a terrific heroine; her character is a problem-solver, not a freaker-outer, and it's a stressful sort of fun watching her devise one plan after another to get around Howard's creepy patriarchal rules.
