Mojoguy
Only a 14m weekend... Sigh. Why the sigh? IO is a success. Not IO's fault that those twinkies are so popular OS.

Planodisney
Yes. It had 30 million OS total week and weekend. Still will be making money in current markets for a while and markets still yet to open are: Thailand Indonesia Philippines Malaysia Norway Denmark Singapore Finland Sweden Greece Italy Germany China Could make over 100 million just from those markets plus the money it will still make from current markets. Still definitely has a shot at 450 OS and 800 million WW. Huge success for an original animated film. Some of those are big markets that IO hasn't been released in. $400 million OS is a lock and there is high chance it'll make $450 million OS. To cross $500 million OS, it would have to break out in China.

I would really like $500m OS but as for now $470m is a safe bet.

kayumanggi
12.6 M in three days? That's strong, right? Edited August 14, 2015 by kayumanggi
Quigley
12.6 M in three days? That's strong, right? Cume actual after wknd was 302M accord to Deadline. So it's made 10.7M in 3 days compared to 12.8M wknd. That's impressive but somewhat expected given the holidays in the UK and Japan. Let's hope for a nice hold this wknd...

I still hope for $500M OS but I assume it won't happen unless China overperforms. Anyway $450M is locked.
