Ozymandias
Alien > Aliens I love Aliens too, but the first one is just a perfect claustrophobic and sexual horror masterpiece where your screams couldn't be heard in space and the creature wasn't a bug. baumer
T2 is bigger and better than T1. That takes nothing away from the original, but I don't think there is another director who has managed to out do his first film on the same level as Cameron did here. Also, the fact that the first Terminator had Arnold as the bad guy, and then being smart enough and ballsy enough to make him the good guy in this one, plus Sara's metamorphosis. the use of I'll be back, Get Out, Come with me if you want to live, the comedy, the effects, which were and still are ground breaking, it all just adds up to a better film than T1, imo.

Kalo
The best scene and the most emotional scene in the trilogy is undeniably this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p77ZEFVWr84 It's as perfect as filmmaking can get. wait a section I thought you meant this scene. that one while emotional is just kind of depressing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYrYRC2gJ9E also this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_NmCh42hZM oh and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6C8SX0mWP0 Gee, Sam gets all the emotional scene. he's got to be perhaps the most loyal character in any film ever. wait wait this scene... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCY_Hjv7vKc Edited March 12, 2015 by Kalo

The Stingray
Watched Near Dark. Loved it. Best vampire movie I have seen, although I know that ain't saying much. Loved the mood, the existential vibe, the genre blending, and the TD score. 9/10

IndustriousAngel
I like Alien a little more than Aliens (10/10 vs. 9/10) , but for the Terminator series, I'm with Tele (T2: 9/10, T1: 8/10)
Ethan Hunt
Best film trilogy of all time, STAR WARS fans just need to accept that fact of life. No way, Bourne trumps both ( LotR is great though)

darkelf
And, aside from one director, no one shoots or constructs action better than Cameron, and in these earlier films of his, action is the singular driving force of the movie (compared to other films which may have more adventure or comedy or dramatic thrusts). Who's that? McTiernan?
