Jonwo
The Academy do love Aardman and stop motion. I think Inside Out is a shoo in for the win though,
Gabriel Sales
I am Brazilian and I am happy with the Oscar nomination for an animation produced in my country. Not yet watched "The Boy and the World" (do not intend to watch), is not the kind of animation that attracts my attention, would not pay to watch (maybe not for free) but congratulations to the film crew. It is the typical movie that appeals to the Academy. On the other hand, I am saddened by the absence of "Peanuts" and "The Little Prince" (the latter was left out because it was not released in a timely manner in the US, maybe in 2017). In my opinion, the list of nominees is the weakest in recent years, of course, except for "Inside Out".

I'm rather happy that they've selected four under the radar choices for the other noms, though.
