Weekend 3/13-15 Official Estimates: Cinderella 70.1m, RAN 11m

Recommended Posts

They do usually not change the results later, as in earned at a certain exchange situation, stays with that number.

What will change are the results per time-period, no real comparison of success... without insight or a bit work.

Or using the charts peludo started to do, those help a lot for success comparison

I should clarify what I meant. I mean that the same number of admissions will lead to a different BO gross from year to year depending on the exchange rates. So it's tough to compare an OS gross from 1 year to an OS gross from another year.

Due to several reasons

last June 1 Euro = ~ $1.4

now 1 Euro = * $1.05

in 2016.. or so expected 1 Euro = ~ $0.8

It is not about the US inflation ;)

Why does it keep decreasing so much?

Cinderella opens here next weekend and I am legit curious to see how it will do. That and Insurgent. If both perform as Divergent and Maleficent it is enough to be a big start of the Easter holidays.

Two things everyone, I think every single person here would agree Alice in Winderlands mammoth gross was 99% due to being the first huge 3D event post Avatar.

2nd, this is a massive opening itself. A bland live action version of Cinderella opens $70m domestic??? Disney can do no wrong right now. They can easily absorb franchise fatigue like no other brand/company. IGER!

Thanks for this. So does this mean Cindy sold more tickets than Oz for OW?
