Hopefully this crap weekend means good things for San Andreas next week, I wanna see The Rock give The People's Elbow to the box office!

 

I'm pretty sure The Rock is the only reason San Andreas is getting $100 million plus predicts. Put fuckin' James Marsden in that role and it's an outright bomb.

Actually that's pretty awesome considering the film's S&M-weirdo aesthetics, the occasional ultra-violence & the general nastiness of the atmosphere.

This movie deserves $200M that the equally nasty & violent WWZ earned in 2013.

What went wrong is your perception as to what's a disappointment and what's actually pretty damn good.. As much as many of you want to throw water on AOU, it has broken 400M plus and will more than likely pass TDKR... Not bad for a so called FLOP.. I wish I could make a flop that grossed that much... :rolleyes:

But you said TDKR was a huge disappointment since it gross less than TDK and reviews where not as good.

When it came to the Quality of the movie VS TDK?? Then, Yes it was.. Nolan phoned that movie in and coasted off his name and resume to put the movie over and it worked...

I might have missed something, but we aren't talking about the quality of the movie, but its box office.
