Variety's take from its sources: six weeks to possibly three months delay in production, to start...

...But no "official" comments yet from Paramount, Cruise, etc.

It happens. Fucking Jeremy Renner broke BOTH his wrist shooting a fucking comedy recently.

wtf is up with all this hating on Tom Cruise/ stunt work and movie magic? All this shit is nothing new and has been happening for the decades hahah I don't get why all of sudden everybody is angry.

Don't think they will push the release date. For the last movie, they actually brought the date up 6 months, so I think they can absorb a 6 week hiatus. Maybe they will film scenes with Cruise sitting down in the interim

Pretty sure Cruise won't be doing his own stunts in the remainder of filming though.

Jackie Chan in the Rush Hour movies probably was the safest he has ever has been while working in a movie and paid the most. I don't know why he doesn't do more Hollywood films.

One time he said that he was getting much more shooting days in Hong Kong than Hollywood. And was he doing the Hollywood movie he starred in, or just acting / stunt coordinated them, that would be a huge difference also.
