Well sure they will, but it would be funny if they didn't and it missed it by 1M.. I'd laugh til the sun went down over it...

But we will never know. That is the point. With numbers this big, theater tracking and reporting becomes tricky. Small percentage difference is large gross difference.

Does it really get anymore dramatic then it has today for box office trackers?  Usually any suspense for acutals is who wins the weekend.  This is for all the marbles so to speak as far as opening weekends go. You have a studio put out estimates a few million shy of the record (unprecedented) and today the thread is stronger than ever building on the suspense of a possible new champion. Fantastic stuff.

Well this was a fun weekend. 

 

JW is merely good, but I'm happy it's gonna take the crown. Marvel's greedy ass needed to be put in its place. They saturated the marketplace and turned people off superhero movies. They didn't even have the balls to offer something a little different and do a Black Widow movie.
