JennaJ
I'm super excited for Passengers, but I see the absolute ceiling for it at Gravity numbers. It's not an action thriller, it's a space love story. But I do expect it to bank heavily on it's two very likable leads and I think it's going to do very well (just well for what it is, and not for what it isn't - a big tentpole). Heat Vision
1-BVS:DOJ 2-FD 3-CA:CW 4-SS 5-X:A Yep...4 out of the top five biggest hits of the year will be superhero films, methinks. This.

Box Office Freak
fyi I think you guys are seriously underestimating suicide squad Domestic it will do 350 million minimum. I'm thinking more in the 400s.

Entirely depends on quality IMHO. It'll probably open big, but IDK if it stays big. We'll see.

Maybe I'm just biased because I thought the trailer was awesome! Everyone I know has been buzzing about it...even more than Bat v Sups
Kalo
Maybe I'm just biased because I thought the trailer was awesome! Everyone I know has been buzzing about it...even more than Bat v Sups My Nephew (who is almost 15) said it was the best trailer he's ever seen. I wouldn't go that far, but it does look pretty awesome, and has the potential to break out in a big way. not sure about $400m but crazier things have happened.

Ethan Hunt
I don't think SLoP is gonna cross 200M like the rest of you seem to. 170M sounds about right to me

Heat Vision
Maybe I'm just biased because I thought the trailer was awesome! Everyone I know has been buzzing about it...even more than Bat v Sups Joker being a bigger draw that Batman can be argued. 300 million domestic or even 250 million would be huge for SS. The movie should do well OS too. Edited July 20, 2015 by Heat Vision
