Beyond Assassin's Creed flopping, I genuinely couldn't call anything box office wise next year yet, everything has Kal ranges to me atm.

Warcraft seems like a more surefire flop than AC to me. Of all the video games out there, that probably lends itself as poorly as possible to film. Don't know how they'll ever make that work. On the flip-side, I have a lot of faith in the Uncharted movie to be a hit if done right. It lends itself perfectly to film and could easily shatter any other video game adaptation gross if they do it well.

1. The Jungle Book - 398M

2. Captain America: Civil War - 372M

3. Finding Dory - 336M

4. Batman v. Superman - 335M

5. Moana - 311M

6. Rogue One - 288M

7. Ghostbusters - 267M

8. X-Men Apocalypse - 260M

9. Warcraft - 241M

10. Alice Through the Looking Glass - 232M

Judging by the absolute tidal-wave of hatred that there seems to be for the Ghostbusters remake, I think $267m is very overstated. I think we could be looking at a Fantastic 4 style bomb

Time to post your final predictions, everyone! Here's mine in domestic/worldwide:

1              Batman v Superman               $430m/$1.3b

2              Star Wars: Rogue One            $500m/$1.2b

3              Finding Dory                          $450m/$1.2b

4              Captain America: Civil War     $380m/$1.05b

5              X-Men: Apocalypse                 $280m/$920m

6              Fantastic Beasts                     $270m/$900m

7              Independence Day 2              $300m/$870m

8              Alice 2                                   $190m/$850m

9              Kung Fu Panda 3                    $160m/$790m

10            Ice Age: Collision Course        $130m/$750m

Honourable mentions: Moana, Suicide Squad, The Jungle Book, Star Trek Beyond, Bourne 5, Doctor Strange, Passengers.

So I think Rogue One will be #1 domestic (how could it not be after the insane US performance of TFA?) and BvS #1 worldwide because it's Batman v Superman (even though the last trailer was crap).

I think the most difficult to predict is Independence Day 2 - it could unexpectedly break out like JW did last year, or underperform. I've gone somewhere in the middle where it makes a bit more than the original.

Come on...now all of a sudden we think Rogue One is gonna outgross everything else? Why? Are Luke, Leia, and Han going to cameo? Is it also going to closely adhere to every story beat of ANH? Are Finn and Rey guesting on it?

Well, the bar has been raised with the explosion of TFA at the box office, and even with my prediction it still wouldn't come close.
