grey ghost
Did anyone predict under 140 m DOM for Ted 2 in the BSG?
BadAtGender
Did anyone predict under 140 m DOM for Ted 2 in the BSG? I did 132m. It looks like from a very brief check that DAR did 110. Although isn't it irrelevant if it fails to get into the top 15?
baumer
Several similar films did well over 30% last year: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/daily/chart/?sortdate=2014-06-29&p=.htm Like Chef and Jersey Boys? Kind of a different audience than IO.

redfirebird2008
Looks like 350 m DOM is a done deal for IO. Not so sure of that. Running 97% of TS3's multiplier so far. If that continues, it ends up with a $330m total.
grey ghost
What's the range JW will fall in for the final WW gross? Will it beat Avengers and AOU?
BadAtGender
Not so sure of that. Running 97% of TS3's multiplier so far. If that continues, it ends up with a $330m total. If it continues to follow Brave's path it probably ends up in that range. The big question is whether it softens the drops over the next two weeks. That might be enough to drive it up into the 340-350 range.
Chaz
Like Chef and Jersey Boys? Kind of a different audience than IO. He's talking about the action films comparable to JW's Saturday increase.
PDC1987
Like Chef and Jersey Boys? Kind of a different audience than IO. EOT and DOFP. We were discussing JW. Edited June 27, 2015 by PDC1987

grey ghost
Some sci-fi franchises are critic proof like Transformers. I wonder if Terminator falls into that category. Cause Genesys' RT rating is close to Salvation. It might flop.
Empire
Not so sure of that. Running 97% of TS3's multiplier so far. If that continues, it ends up with a $330m total. That would be a great total for me since I predicted 333M.
Ezen Baklattan
At this rate, Inside Out should be around if not above $250m before Minions even arrives. We should be in good shape for a total close to FN's unadjusted total.
Blankments
Ted 2 would be a lot more enticing to me even with the meh plot if Mila Kunis was in it. There's plenty of stuff they could've done with her and Marky Mark progressing in their relationship rather than just regressing him back to beginning-of-Ted-1 level. Probably won't see it. BourneFan #1
Could Vacation be the big R- rated comedy breakout this summer?
Blankments
I would love for IO to finish in first. JW has a bunch of records already, it doesn't need this weekend. Share the wealth. =] What are the records and numbers for movies coming in 1st on their second weekend but not first? Eh, if IO doesn't get first, it has BFGW's record in the bag

Ethan Hunt
I think Trainwreck will be. There isn't even a joke in the trailer as far as I could tell
Blankments
Trainwreck looks better than Vacation to me, but the only stuff I've seen for Vacation are the awful repetitive TV spots
