I never finished season 1 of SHIELD. Just been too busy. The good thing about the TV stuff is that you don't have to watch them for the movies to make sense.

I've started Daredevil an like it, and I'm curious about the other two but I'll probably just watch an episode or two to see if its good or not.

Well the reason AoU flopped dissapointly domestic is because of Fast 7, Ant-Man because of IO, JW and Minions.

Settle down, neither of the movies flopped. They were plagued with over predictions.

A movie doesn't open to 191m and flop, 450m domestic isn't flopping. Is that close to the first? No but the first was a phenomenon, and the second was going to have trouble following it up even if it wasn't a great movie.

Ant-Man isn't doing great but it's not doing awful either. Its doing mediocre numbers, but it had pretty bad trailers and a marketing campaign that made fun of its own movie. But it was never going to do the 70-80m range people were predicting, just because GOTG was a major hit.

Marvel isn't dead. Marvel is still rolling in profit. Next year when Civil War breaks 400m DOM and Doctor Strange breaks out people will start proclaiming Marvel as the new overlord again.

And then more of their movies will disappoint and more will hit. They aren't and were never Pixar.
