How many cities have you seen a big screen movie in?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently waiting for MI 5 to start in Baltimore, and the thought occurred to me to start a thread about members' movie theater travelogues. You can name the specific towns or theaters you've seen movies in but I don't remember those so I'm just going by metro areas.

Cleveland

Des Moines

Las Vegas

Chicago

New Orleans

Denver

Toronto

Ottumwa

Baltimore/Washington

I watched a movie in Nanjanagud once (Spider-Man 2) when my mother was stationed there for work, probably the worst movie going experience of my life, the theater seats were actual benches for some reason. You and I share Mysore, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Nanjanagud and of course, my home town of Mangalore (I have watched a movie in every single theater in Mangalore)

The nicest theater I've been to was an IMAX in Michigan, but I can't remember the name of the city, I also been to one in  Winston Salem, NC, but don't think it was a "true" IMAX. I don't think I've seen a movie in theaters in any state outside of MI or NC.. wait I did go to a Drive in in VA.

NC:
Wilkesboro

Lenoir

Statesville

Winston Salem

Greensboro

Hickory

Boone

Jonesville

MI:

Flushing

Flint

Owasso

Cool. :)

Not many would've watched movies in Nanjanagud. I watched Yudh in 1985 when we were stationed there for a field survey project for my 6th sem civil engineering coursework.
