The only ones I've seen are The Brothers Grimm (awful) and Idlewild (a wonderful performance from Paula Patton trapped in an otherwise wretched movie).

I actually really love Outkast's soundtrack to Idlewild (never saw the movie). I know it got lackluster reception and sales for them, but I thought it was an interesting route for them. Mutron Angel is a stunning track. Insane to believe that was their last album from nearly a decade ago.

Probably. I honestly don't know who the target audience for this is supposed to be. Being given a rather small theater count next weekend doesn't seem like a sign of confidence either.

Yup, WB is dumping it hard. We all know every WB movie not being dumped gets a 3000+ theater count. That movie is dead.

Idlewild had some great songs. I own the movie on the dvd but I've never watched it.

Efron isn't even a draw on his own, so I don't know why it would open to anymore than 10m. Sinister should be our biggest opener until the 9/18 weekend, sad as that is.

Paula Patton is so good in the movie (her feature film debut, in fact) that she almost (key word being "almost") makes up for the rest of film's endless list of shortcomings.

I like Zac Efron a lot and always root for him to succeed but movies like We Are Your Friends (which honestly looks like it could've just as accurately been called Social Media: The Movie) are not gonna cut it.

Now that this weekend is pretty much done for me with movie watching, it is pretty barren for me until November.  I may see 2 or 3 movies in the next two months
