Ridiculous weekend for openers and the next two weeks don't look much better. At least The Visit seems like something that will do 10M OW and Perfect Guy should do around 15M

This just means better holds for MI5, and a better chance for 200m DOM. :bop:

Weird thing so far this year, only one movie has finished its domestic run between 200M and 300M - Cinderella, which was basically pushed past the 200M mark, it sits at 201M. And when Minions completes its run, there will be no movie between 201M and 330M. The only movie with a chance of ending up in that range between now and November is probably The Martian, if everything goes right for it. Really weird year at the box office.

I prefer having a mega blockbuster or two like JW and AOU in a year, over having 10 boring 200m movies.

MAZE RUNNER: THE SCORCH TRIALS Tracking for September Record $50 Million Launch #MazeRunner #TheScorchTrials http://fb.me/4epnd7tX3

Article By Shawn Robbins

Mrs Wrath is inexplicably fired up for Scortch Trials despite, afaik, having neither read the books nor even watched the first one. All I can figure is that she thinks one of the actors is cute but she denys it. Edited by Wrath

Hitman Agent 47 may in fact be the worst movie of 2015.

You kids nowadays have no idea how to have fun. Shit was stupid dumb crazy ridiculous. It had it all. The mid credits scene is stuff of legend.

Hitman: Agent 47 is having a giant OW here. Theaters just switched it with MI5 which was in the biggest screens for the weekend yesterday. In some theaters it went from screens with 180 and 170 seats to screens with 470 and 360 seats. It is going to open above Fant4stic, Ant-Man, Terminator Genisys, Godzilla, San Andreas and many others. It is one of the biggest shocks ever.

My friend that works at FOX has no idea what is happening but he is super happy.

There's a mid credits scene? Shoot, I'll have to check it out next time I'm working.

I could have had a lot of fun with it CJohn, if I knew what was going on
