no way!  most films drop on Thanksgiving, around 25%.

So could we be seeing Life of Pi multiplier for Creed then? Looking back on past thanksgivings, not a whole lot of movies increased on Thursday, but LoP did.

It is you.  Creed really only did about 4.8 mill without previews.  So this is a pretty significant jump.  Hopefully it follows a normal pattern here now and it jumps 90-100% today.

That's the only other adult themed movie I could compare it to and if it does follow LIP then it will clear 140 mill.

What I find interesting about Creed's number is that with football taking front and center and they both target males in that age group, Creed still managed to increase very well.
