The film was just a mess in production from the beginning. If anyone its Bob Peterson who's in doubt. But I think Disney will be glad the movie was released after all those delays. With estimates, it's at 68.7M so with actuals it could potentially get that record. We'll wait for Disney to release their numbers tomorrow. Sunday record will be tough $57.2M by JW, as Disney is only projecting a -29% drop for 48.8M which seems pretty conservative. I would guess number comes closer to 54-55M for nice earth-shattering OW of 245M. So far records include Previews with 57M, OD with 120.5M, proper Friday with 63.5M, Fastest to 100M, 150M and 200M. Lets move to OS, 48.8M OW in UK with holidays coming it should have a nice healthy run to largest gross in the country's history, $161M by Skyfall. Germany also had a record breaking OW and it has potential to reach $100M. Australia also shattered the OW record in the country with 27M in Aussie dollars which comes out to about $19M. Finally Japan had a great start with $13.5M and $16.5M total over 2.5 days. 100M is locked there and if ER weren't so pathetic we would be looking at 150M+ total there instead of 100M+. SW7 just came up just short of JW WW record but with Disney's conservative domestic drop plus usually OS increases from estimate, it still has a very good shot at taking this record.
