I highly doubt that but a total between 85-95M isn't out of reach.

Is that so different from saying it could hit 100? :P I think it definitely will if it becomes the clear cut frontrunner and wins the Oscar. Otherwise your range looks good.

Daddy's Home looks like it became the consensus family choice over the holidays for people who had finished watching TFA. It will earn more than all the other movies targeting the same demo like TGD or Alvin.

The most heart warming family film with penis size comparisons ever!

The studio was smart to get it a PG rating and stress the rating in the TV spots, definitely helped it stand out among all the PG-13 movies.

Yep. It was easily the most appealing alternative to Star Wars.

Adjusted for inflation-wise....with $781M.....Force Awakens has now passed Phantom Menace's $777M.

And the fact that film was released back in 1999.......Damn!

Won't be truly happy though until it has safely cleared TPM's admissions. So give it another 50-70m or so.

Next week, Norm of the North beats TFA

I kinda want this to happen just for shits and giggles.

BTW I just looked up the voice cast for Norm of the North and saw that the lead voices are Rob Schneider and Heather Graham. When the hell was this made, 2000?

Star Wars loses Large Format screens at most theaters (or has to share them) next week with 13 Hours and Ride Along 2 releasing in those screens. That will hurt the hold more than anything else as the average ticket price will reduce.

If Nut Job could open to 25M 4 day, Norm should manage 20M or so over the 4 day weekend for sure.

The trailers look terrible.
