NYC is probably not gonna get a ton, but Philly could get quite a bit. DC is on track for at least 2 feet though, this city will be incapacitated for a week. Dementeleus
Just now, misterchief81 said: Doesn't the Forums link on boxoffice.com still direct here? For the time being, it does, but it's just a courtesy on their end. They stopped hosting us over a year ago. Just in case you're curious, the history of these forums: The community originally formed on the BoxOfficeMojo forums. When Amazon.com acquired BOM, they suddenly shut down the forums without notice, telling users to use the IMDB forums instead. There was a migration into the general internet void. Other box-office forums started here and there -- they were much smaller communities like World of KJ or Filmgasm, and some of them are still around. Shawn, one of the volunteer staff of the original BOM forums, started a Mojo Refugees forum and people started drifting back to it. Shawn worked a deal for BO.com to host the forums, which they very graciously did for a few years (despite not really getting much tangible financial benefit). In late 2014, they decided they weren't going to keep hosting us, but they gave Shawn a couple of months to get things sorted out and agreed to forward traffic to our URL. We set ourselves up as an independent forum at Invision. We pay for their hosting and software through member subscriptions and donations, and we've been our own entity since December 2014.
