edit: She was also incredibly excited for Jurassic World like 3 months in advance, and I couldn't understand why. Look what happened!

I'm not sure why people thought KFP3 was going to do as well as KFP2.

 

It's clear after KFP2 people were losing interest in the franchise.

 

Even the expectation for China seemed strange but I'm not really familiar with the Chinese market so I figured I was missing something.

Maybe there not just losing interest in the next KFP-flick.....but also interest in next Dreamworks-animated films. Wherever it was original or a sequel.

 

What could Dreamworks do to regain it's strength? They haven't had it with some of their recent films.
