No he probably negotiated a huge back end deal, he is a producer on this and he has been trying to make a Deadpool movie for the last ten years.

He was knee deep involved in everything about the movie.

And I know how back end deal works trust me, he s gonna be filthy rich with this.

GOTG was released in August. Marvel took advantage of its popularity and put GOTG II in May. Fox might do the same for DEADPOOL II.
